I have enclosed a couple of pictures I took from the C&O Towpath near Potomac, Maryland. This is a beautiful walk along the canal that parallels the Potomac River. These two shots were taken at a small lake that was connected to the canal.
With April coming soon I was reflecting back a few years ago when walking through Fort Tryon Park in Upper Manhattan. There is a great restaurant in the park called the New Leaf which is a good place to stop for coffee or lunch. Also in the park is the Cloisters which is a must see. Ended the stroll with an underbelly view of the George Washington bridge.
I don’t pretend to know what the heck is going on in there but I do remember taking this picture some time ago of an engine of a 1960’s car of some sort. I thought all the shiny tubes, hoses and things looked pretty interesting. Hope you do too.
